API: Overdue Invoices and Payment Links
Members can now see their overdue subscription invoices and get a secure payment link to pay them, all through a self-serve API flow built for member-facing apps.
API: Overdue Invoices and Payment Links
The Overdue Invoices and Payment Links API lets developers build self-serve payment recovery directly into a member-facing app or portal.
A member’s overdue subscription invoices can be listed in a single call, sorted by due date with the most recent shown first, so members can see exactly what they owe without contacting the studio. For any invoice that’s eligible to be paid this way, typically a past-due subscription invoice or a pending flexible invoice where flexible payment links are enabled, the API returns a secure payment link along with the invoice amount, currency, and a human-readable summary, so members can complete payment in a couple of taps.
This gives studios and their integration partners a way to recover overdue revenue without manual follow-up, while keeping the payment experience entirely self-serve for the member.
API: Payment Collector
A secure, PCI-compliant API for collecting, storing, and managing a member's payment methods, without your integration ever handling raw card or bank details directly.
API: Payment Collector
The Payment Collector API gives developers a secure way to collect, store, and manage a member’s payment methods without their application ever handling sensitive card or bank details directly.

Payment information is captured through a secure iframe, so sensitive data never touches your servers, helping you meet Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard requirements without building your own tokenization layer. The API supports two flows: the payment method collector, which tokenizes and stores a card or direct debit mandate for a later purchase, and the checkout payment collector, which collects payment and completes a cart purchase in a single step, including support for Google Pay, Apple Pay, and local payment methods such as Blik in Poland.
Developers can also retrieve a member’s stored cards, debit mandates, and full payment history through the same set of endpoints. This is especially useful for custom booking flows, membership signup pages, or point-of-sale integrations that need to collect payment without routing sensitive data through their own infrastructure.
Apply Discounts to Active Memberships
A well-timed discount, for a referral, an anniversary, or a member who's starting to drift, can be the difference between a canceled membership and a loyal one. Staff can now apply a discount directly to an active membership instead of only at checkout.
Apply Discounts to Active Memberships
Discounts on Active Memberships lets staff apply a discount directly to a member’s existing membership, not just at the point of signup. A well-timed discount, for a referral, a membership anniversary, or a member who’s starting to drift, can be the difference between a canceled membership and a loyal one.

From a member’s profile, staff open the Membership tab, select Add discount from the Actions menu, and choose a discount type, percentage or fixed amount, and a duration, all future payments or a set number of payments, along with an Applies to setting of either Checkout or Active Memberships. Once applied to an active membership, the discount takes effect automatically starting the member’s next scheduled payment, with nothing to adjust by hand and no risk of it slipping through. Active membership discounts are staff-applied only and don’t support promo codes, and every application is logged with the staff member’s name, date, and time for a clear audit trail.
This gives studios a direct, in-the-moment way to reward loyalty and step in before an at-risk member cancels, without waiting for a new checkout.

You can now give clients permission to build and update their own Flexible Meal Plan right from the ABC Trainerize mobile app. This is great for clients who want more independence, and you still keep full visibility and control over their plan at all times. This setting is off by default and works on a per-client basis, so you decide who gets access and when. Available with the Advanced Nutrition Coaching add-on and on Studio Plans.
Built-In Stripe Dispute Management
Submitting the right evidence before the deadline is the single biggest factor in winning a payment dispute and getting a member's money back, and that's hard to do well from a separate platform. Operators using Stripe can now view and respond to disputes directly inside Glofox.
Built-In Stripe Dispute Management
Stripe payment disputes are time-sensitive, and submitting the right evidence before the deadline is the single biggest factor in winning a dispute and getting the member’s money back. Managing that process previously meant emailing evidence back and forth with payment operations, since customers never had direct access to a Stripe dashboard.
Stripe Dispute Management brings the full dispute workflow inside the Dashboard instead. Operators can see the disputed amount, the stated reason, and the response timeline alongside the member’s Glofox payment history in one view, then respond to the dispute or accept it without leaving the product.
This removes the friction of routing evidence through email during a time-sensitive window and reduces the risk of missing a deadline because the request was buried in someone’s inbox.
Available automatically for all customers using Stripe payments.

First Booking Workflow
A new member's highest point of intent is the moment they book their first class, and it passes quickly if no one reaches out. Studios can now trigger an automated follow-up the instant that first booking happens.
First Booking Workflow
A member who has just committed to a class is in their highest-intent state, and that window closes fast.
The First Booking Workflow triggers an automated message the moment a member places their first booking ever with a location, meeting them right at that peak. The workflow supports email, SMS, push notifications, and staff tasks, so studios can reach members on the channel they’re most likely to respond to. A welcome message before the first visit sets expectations, reduces no-shows, and starts the relationship on a positive note.
For studios already using the First Attendance workflow, the two can be combined to build a complete onboarding journey: one message when the member books, a second when they check in, both firing automatically without manual follow-up.
Available on request for customers on Elite plans or with the XLerate Add-on.

Push Updates to Deleted Classes and Memberships from HQ (Enterprise Only)
A rebrand or terminology update shouldn't take 30-40 hours of manual restore-update-delete work just because some records were deleted. HQ admins can now push field updates to deleted class and membership records directly, without restoring them first.
Push Updates to Deleted Classes and Memberships from HQ (Enterprise Only)
A franchise or multi-location rebrand should be a single action, not an hours-long chore.
Previously, when HQ pushed a terminology or field update, deleted classes and memberships at target locations were skipped. If those records were later restored, they surfaced old branding, and the only workaround was to manually restore each record, apply the update, and delete it again, an approach that could take 30-40 hours of manual work on large rebrands. This update removes that workaround entirely.
From the HQ Dashboard or via Desk, admins can now select deleted entities when pushing a bulk update, and those records are updated in place without restoration. The toggle defaults to off, so existing behavior is unchanged for operators who don’t need it. For those who do, the result is a faster, safer rebrand process with no risk of a deleted record resurfacing stale content later.
Available for all enterprise customers.

Studio Admin Control: Private Membership Toggle
A promotion that has to wait on HQ often launches after the moment has passed. Studio Admins can now activate a private membership themselves, right from the Services page, so the offer goes live the moment it needs to.
Studio Admin Control: Private Membership Toggle
A promotion that has to wait on HQ to flip a switch often launches after the moment it was meant for has passed.
Studio Admins can now toggle private memberships on and off themselves, giving locations faster, self-serve control over their own promotional memberships instead of a recurring dependency on HQ. From the Services page, a Studio Admin selects a private membership and finds the toggle available directly under their own login.

The rest of the Services page stays read-only, so the change is scoped precisely to membership visibility, and permission is managed at role level so operators choose which roles get access. Available by support request.

This protects revenue-critical settings by keeping sensitive pricing locked down, while still letting front-line staff manage the specific fields they need to do their job day to day. It’s configured through Glofox Desk, under Batch and then User Permissions, and is available to all customers on request.
Enterprise Dashboard: Bulk Dictionary Updates
Update terminology across every location in your organization at once from HQ, so labels, descriptions, and naming stay consistent without location-by-location edits.
Enterprise Dashboard: Bulk Dictionary Updates
Headquarters Bulk Dictionary Updates lets head office admins push terminology changes across all locations in a single action, removing the need to update labels, descriptions, or custom naming location by location.
The Glofox Dictionary controls how terms appear across the Dashboard, member communications, and reporting, so when a brand or operational change requires consistent naming, the update now takes minutes rather than hours across a large estate. Admins access the Dictionary from HQ settings and can apply changes in bulk, with the update propagating to every location in the organization.
This is particularly useful for multi-site operators managing franchise networks or regional groupings where consistent member-facing language is important for brand integrity. Location-level overrides remain possible for operators that need flexibility at the individual site level, while HQ retains the ability to apply global defaults at any time.
Bulk Dictionary Updates is available to all HQ customers.
Waitlist: Configurable Auto-Enrollment Window
Set a custom window for how long a spot is held for a waitlisted member before moving to the next person, so classes fill reliably without leaving members uncertain about whether they made it in.
Waitlist: Configurable Auto-Enrollment Window
The Waitlist Auto-Enrollment Window gives operators control over exactly how long a spot is held for a waitlisted member after a cancellation opens a place.
Previously, waitlist behavior was fixed, which meant some members missed a window they did not know existed or spots sat unfilled because the handoff did not happen quickly enough. With this update, operators set the window to match how their front desk operates and how quickly their members typically respond.
When a cancellation creates an opening, the spot is held for the configured duration and the waitlisted member is notified automatically. If they do not confirm in time, the place moves to the next person in line. The setting applies consistently across locations, so the experience is predictable for both staff and members regardless of which site they book at.
The Waitlist Auto-Enrollment Window is available to all locations using the waitlist feature and is configured from the Dashboard class settings.
XLerate: First Attendance Workflow
Automatically follow up with members right after their first class or appointment, turning a critical engagement moment into a consistent, personal touchpoint without extra staff effort.
XLerate: First Attendance Workflow
The First Attendance workflow in Xlerate triggers an automated follow-up the moment a member attends their first class or appointment, creating a timely and personal touchpoint without requiring any manual action from staff.
Operators can configure the workflow to send an email, push notification, or SMS, or to create a task for staff to make a personal call, and the timing and content can be tailored to match how the studio communicates with new members.
Multiple versions of the workflow can run simultaneously to target different scenarios, for example a general welcome message for all new members, a separate follow-up for members who attended a specific class type, or a targeted outreach for trial members after their first visit. Bulk updates are also supported, so locations can apply the workflow retroactively to members who already had a first attendance.
First Attendance closes one of the most significant gaps in member onboarding automation and is available to all locations with access to Xlerate. It is accessible from Connect, then Automations in the Glofox Dashboard.
Class Utilization Dashboard
Nine dedicated views covering class performance by location, trainer, program, day, time, and 13-month trending are now live in ABC Insights, giving operators a complete and filterable picture of how classes are performing across their network.
Class Utilization Dashboard
The Class Utilization Dashboard is a major upgrade to class analytics in ABC Insights, delivering nine dedicated views that give operators a full picture of how classes are performing across their network.
Views cover performance by location, trainer, program, day and time patterns, and 13-month trending, so operators can identify which sessions are consistently full, which are underperforming, and where scheduling changes could improve utilization. Advanced filters let users slice by program, trainer, facility, or day of week, making it easy to answer specific questions about a class type or a single location without exporting and sorting data manually.
The dashboard is live now in ABC Insights as Class Utilization – New under the Analyze section, and is available to all ABC Insights customers. Additional key utilization metrics will be added to the Glofox Dashboard Class Performance report later in Q3, creating a consistent cross-product experience for operators who work across both platforms.
Total Visits on Class List
Staff can now see each member's lifetime visit count directly on the Dashboard class list, so milestone moments and members at risk of lapsing are visible at a glance without opening a separate report.
Total Visits on Class List
Total Visits on Class List adds each member’s lifetime visit count directly to the Dashboard class list, visible alongside membership status and other details during a live class session.
Staff can see at a glance when a member hits a significant visit milestone, like their 50th or 100th visit, and act on it in the moment with a personal acknowledgement rather than discovering it after the fact. The count includes home location visits, roaming visits, and any pre-migration historical data that was imported, so the number reflects a complete and accurate picture of a member’s activity.
For staff keeping an eye on retention, low total visit counts are also an early signal that a member may be lapsing, prompting timely outreach before they go inactive.
Studio-only visit counts are arriving in a subsequent release, and Pro App class list support is planned for a later phase.
Total Visits on Class List is available to all customers and can be enabled by requesting access in #glofox-eng-triage.
Pro App: Create Class
Trainers and admins can now create and schedule classes directly from the Pro App, without switching to the Dashboard or a desktop during a busy shift.
Pro App: Create Class
Pro App Create Class lets trainers and admins build and schedule classes without leaving the Pro App, removing the need to switch to the Dashboard mid-shift.
From the Pro App, users select the class type, assign a trainer from a dropdown that shows only eligible trainers pre-selected by default, set the date, and publish in a few taps. Classes appear on the schedule immediately, so last-minute additions, substitutions, or responses to unplanned demand can be handled in real time without a front-desk detour. The smart trainer dropdown filters out ineligible staff automatically, so the right person is confirmed quickly and without guesswork.
Pro App Create Class is available to all customers and can be enabled by requesting access in #glofox-eng-triage.
Spot Booking Phase 2: Member Experience
Members can now select their spot through the web portal before booking, and change their spot directly in the app with a one-tap switch, without needing to cancel and rebook.
Spot Booking Phase 2: Member Experience
Spot Booking Phase 2 Member Experience extends interactive spot selection to the web portal, so members who prefer to book online see the same live room map already available in the mobile app.
At the time of booking, members pick their preferred spot from the layout before confirming.
For members who want to change their spot after booking, the app now shows a Change Spot option that pre-selects their current spot for a one-tap switch to any available alternative, removing the need to cancel and rebook entirely.
Together, these updates make the spot booking experience consistent across web and mobile, and significantly reduce the friction that previously came with spot changes.
Spot Booking Phase 2 Member Experience is live for studios on Spot Booking 2.0 and can be enabled via #glofox-eng-triage.
Spot Booking Phase 2: Operator Dashboard
Operators now have full self-serve control of the room layout lifecycle, including blocking and unblocking spots, drag-and-drop spot moves, and creating custom spot types, with no engineering ticket required.
Spot Booking Phase 2: Operator Dashboard
Spot Booking Phase 2 Operator Dashboard gives operators complete self-serve control over room layouts without needing to raise an engineering request.
From the Dashboard, operators can block or unblock individual spots, move spots using drag-and-drop, and propagate layout edits to all future classes in a single action, removing the Phase 1 limitation that required engineering involvement for any layout change.

Custom spot types can now be created and deleted directly in the Dashboard, up to 20 per location, and can be set as bookable or non-bookable to match how the studio uses the space. Layouts can be soft-deleted, while active layouts remain protected to preserve ongoing class assignments.

This update closes the operator-side gap for studios that adopted Spot Booking in Phase 1 but still depended on engineering support for layout changes.
It is live for studios on Spot Booking 2.0 and can be enabled via #glofox-eng-triage.
Pro App: Trainer Availability
Staff using the Pro App can now see trainer availability before scheduling an appointment, so bookings happen faster and scheduling conflicts are caught before they cause problems.
Pro App: Trainer Availability
Trainer Availability in the Pro App gives front-desk staff and managers a real-time view of each trainer’s schedule directly within the Pro App before an appointment is booked. Instead of switching between screens or calling a trainer to confirm availability, staff can see open time slots at a glance and book straight into a free window.

This makes appointment scheduling faster in a live studio environment where time at the front desk is limited, and it removes the guesswork that leads to double-bookings or last-minute cancellations.
Trainers benefit too, since their availability is set and respected by the system, reducing the chance of an unplanned session appearing in their calendar.
Trainer Availability is available to all locations using the Glofox Pro App and requires no additional configuration to enable.

Admin & Super Admin Role Management
Admin & Super Admin Role Management makes staff role changes fully self-serve, letting operators upgrade or downgrade someone between Admin and Super Admin directly in the Dashboard instead of filing a request and waiting on engineering to adjust permissions. Role updates now apply instantly, giving operators direct, real-time control over who holds elevated access rather than dealing with delay or back and forth. Beyond the time saved, this also cuts real cost, removing the manual ticket process is estimated to save around $1,500 per quarter in engineering overhead. The feature is rolling out to all customers, with an internal rollout first and self-serve Super Admin management to follow.
