New Audiences Filter – Membership Plan
Custom Audiences now let you segment members by the specific membership plan they’re on, not just whether they have an active or expired membership. From the Audience tab, click Create Audience and filter by plan alongside the other criteria already available, like lead type, lead source, visit count, or tags. That opens up messaging you couldn’t easily target before, such as a VIP communication for your premium plan holders, an upsell campaign aimed at members on a lower tier, or a plan-specific update that only applies to one group. Once built, the audience previews how many customers currently qualify, so you know your reach before you send anything. From there, you can use it directly in Connect > Campaigns to send a one-off email to exactly that group. For studios running multiple membership tiers, it means every campaign can speak to the plan a member is actually on instead of a one-size-fits-all message.

Report Upgrades – Failed Payments, Late Cancellations, and Strikes
These three reports now load faster and read more clearly, with customizable tables as part of our ongoing report improvements.
Report Upgrades – Failed Payments, Late Cancellations, and Strikes
The Failed Payments, Late Cancellations, and Strikes reports have all been upgraded as part of Glofox’s ongoing work to modernize reporting across the dashboard.
Each report now loads faster, which matters when you’re checking in on overdue accounts or no-show patterns during a busy shift rather than waiting on a slow page. The tables are also easier to read at a glance, with a cleaner layout that surfaces the information you actually need without extra digging. On top of that, all three reports now support customizable tables, so you can adjust the columns shown to match how your team tracks failed payments, late cancellations, or strikes against your policies.
These updates sit alongside similar improvements Glofox has been rolling out across its reporting suite. For front desk and management teams, it means less time waiting on reports and more time acting on what they show.
Improved Integration with Trainerize
PT studios get a smoother hybrid coaching experience: sell a membership in Glofox and Trainerize handles the syncing and program delivery.
Improved Integration with Trainerize
The Glofox and Trainerize integration has come out of beta with automatic member data synchronization built in, giving personal training studios a smoother way to run hybrid coaching.
Sell a membership in Glofox and, once you’ve selected which membership types or plans should sync, Trainerize picks up the client automatically instead of requiring a manual export and import. New clients get an email prompting them to set up their Trainerize account and download the app, so they can start receiving workout and nutrition programs without extra setup work from your team.
Studios that don’t yet have a Trainerize account can request the integration, get set up with login details, and upgrade to the Studio plan using a provided coupon code, while existing Trainerize customers get an automatically generated API token instead of a manual request process. A bulk import feature also validates and syncs client details in one pass, reducing the manual entry errors that used to come with onboarding a roster of clients.
For studios offering personal training alongside group classes, it means selling in Glofox and coaching in Trainerize finally works as one connected experience rather than two separate systems to manage.
Member Activity in the Pro App
View a member's full activity timeline, visits, bookings, and attendance, right in their profile, so on-floor staff can personalize conversations and recommendations.
Member Activity in the Pro App
Staff using the Glofox Pro app can now open any member’s profile and see their full activity timeline, covering visits, bookings, and attendance, all in one place.
It sits within the Clients tab of Glofox Pro, alongside the rest of what staff can already do from a member’s profile, like adding payment methods, buying credit packs, or logging an interaction. You can filter that activity list by event date, newest or oldest first, or by when it was last created, so you can quickly spot patterns like a member who’s been coming in consistently or one who’s recently gone quiet. For on-floor and mobile-first staff without a reception desk to lean on, that timeline turns a quick glance at a profile into real context for a conversation, whether that’s recommending a class based on what they usually book or checking in on someone who hasn’t been in for a while.
It’s part of what makes Glofox Pro function as a full front desk replacement rather than just a schedule viewer. The result is a more personal member experience, driven by staff who can see the same history a manager would from the dashboard.
Edit Appointments
Staff can edit appointments right from the calendar on the Glofox Dashboard, changing the date, time, or trainer without deleting and recreating the booking.
Edit Appointments
Staff can now edit an existing appointment directly from the calendar on the Glofox Dashboard, changing the date, time, or assigned trainer without cancelling the booking and starting over.
Select the appointment on the calendar, open the slide out panel, click Edit Appointment, make the change, and save it, all without leaving the calendar view. This is especially useful when a trainer’s availability shifts or a client needs to move their session, since the alternative was always deleting the original booking and rebuilding it from scratch, credits and all. The edited appointment replaces the previous record in the client’s Activity tab, so their history stays accurate and doesn’t show a cancelled booking alongside a new one.
Note that this functionality currently lives on the Dashboard rather than the Pro app, and it’s possible to edit an appointment to a date that falls outside a client’s membership eligibility, so it’s worth double checking access before confirming a change.
For front desk and admin staff, it turns what used to be a two-step fix into a single edit.
New Filter for Custom Audiences

New Filter for Custom Audiences
Audiences in Glofox let you segment your leads and members into groups you can message directly, and this update adds account creation date as a filter you can build around. That means you can isolate leads who signed up last week for a fresh lead follow up, or members whose accounts go back a year or more for a loyalty push, without manually cross-referencing lists. Audiences already includes presets like active memberships, expired trials, and low attendance clients, and this new filter slots in alongside those to sharpen who ends up in each group. Click into any audience from the Connect tab to see exactly which filters built it and how many people currently qualify. From there, you can use that audience directly in a one-off email campaign to reach the right people with the right message. It is a small addition that makes every campaign you send more targeted and less of a blast to everyone at once.
1:1 Emails on Customer Profile
Staff can now send a one-off email directly from an individual member’s profile, the same way they’ve long been able to fire off a quick SMS or push notification during a check-in. 1:1 Emails on Customer Profile
Staff can now send a one-off email directly from an individual member’s profile, the same way they’ve long been able to fire off a quick SMS or push notification during a check-in. Instead of building a full campaign through Connect > Messages and selecting an audience, you can open the profile of the person in front of you and send a personal note in a couple of clicks. This is built on the same one-off email tool used for broader sends like promotions, newsletters, or studio closure alerts, so the message looks and feels consistent with everything else you send. As with any one-off email, members who haven’t consented to marketing messages or who have unsubscribed won’t receive it, keeping your outreach compliant. For front desk and coaching staff, it closes the gap between a quick word at check-in and a proper follow up in someone’s inbox. It’s a simple way to make one-to-one communication feel personal without leaving the member’s profile.
Preview Emails
Marketing and front desk staff can preview 1:1 emails, campaigns, or workflow messages before hitting send, catching errors ahead of time. Social Media Merge Tags
Each location’s social media links now populate automatically wherever they’re needed in emails, campaigns, and workflow messages. That means staff no longer have to manually track down and paste the right links into every template, saving time on communications. For multi-location businesses, it also keeps branding consistent, so every message reflects the correct social presence for that specific studio or gym. Members get accurate links to follow and engage with their local location, no matter which message they receive.
Recurring Bookings
Recurring Bookings let staff set up a client’s regular session once instead of booking it week after week, and the tool now supports scheduling up to two years in advance. Recurring Bookings
Recurring Bookings let staff set up a client’s regular session once instead of booking it week after week, and the tool now supports scheduling up to two years in advance. From the calendar, staff select a slot, choose one or more days the booking should repeat on, and set how far into the future the series should run, all in a single setup flow. The calendar layout has been cleared up too, so it’s easier to see which slots are part of a recurring series and spot conflicts before they become a problem for a member or a trainer. The bookings work regardless of membership type, whether a client is on a credit pack, an unlimited plan, or pay as you go, and payment can be taken at any point after the booking is created. If a client wants to change their schedule or cancels their membership, staff can bulk delete the entire series from that point forward in one click rather than removing each booking individually. For studios that run loyal, regular attendees, it cuts a repetitive admin task down to a single booking action.
Restricted Memberships Renewal Improvements
Restricted Services Memberships give members access to a defined set of credits, whether that’s a capped number of classes per month, one type of class, or access to specific facilities like a spin or yoga studio. Restricted Memberships Renewal Improvements
Restricted Services Memberships give members access to a defined set of credits, whether that’s a capped number of classes per month, one type of class, or access to specific facilities like a spin or yoga studio. This update focuses on what happens at renewal: when a payment on one of these memberships is written off, the associated credits now reassign automatically instead of requiring a staff member to step in and adjust the account by hand. That removes a common source of renewal-day friction, where a failed or written-off payment left a member’s credit balance out of sync with what they’d actually paid for. Because Restricted Memberships can combine multiple credit categories, such as class credits and facility credits on the same plan, keeping those balances accurate matters for both billing accuracy and the member experience. For staff, it means fewer manual corrections chasing down credit mismatches after a payment issue. For members, it means their access reflects their membership status without a support ticket.
Updated Next Payment Date
Owners and billing staff can now adjust next payment dates for restricted memberships, not just Unlimited plans. That closes a gap that previously limited flexibility for a common membership type, giving operators more control over billing cycles. Door Access Details
Door Access Details give gym and studio owners real-time visibility into who is entering their facility, built on Glofox’s integration with access control provider Kisi. Door Access Details
Door Access Details give gym and studio owners real-time visibility into who is entering their facility, built on Glofox’s integration with access control provider Kisi. Once a physical controller and reader are installed at your entrance, the system checks each member’s status in Glofox the moment they tap a keyfob, keycard, or their phone at the door, and only grants access if their membership or credit pack is valid. Every access event is recorded automatically as attendance, so you can review who came in and when from your Access reports at any time, without relying on front desk sign-ins. Staff can also grant access manually from a member’s profile by clicking Access, and can manage capacity and access schedules across multiple locations from one place. You can differentiate access by schedule or membership type, such as 24/7 access versus limited hours, and issue temporary passes for guests or short-term visitors. For operators, it turns door access into a data source you can trust for attendance, capacity, and accountability, rather than a manual checkpoint.

A new Summary tab pulls key numbers together for a faster, at a glance overview of transactions. Together, these updates make it easier to find the specific records you need and export them for further analysis. The improvements are especially valuable for staff who rely on transaction data to support consumer protection compliance and financial reporting.
Updated Transaction Reports
The Transactions Report gives studios a full record of every charge, refund, and failed payment that runs through Glofox, and it’s easy to export as a CSV for whatever spreadsheet tool your business runs on. Updated Transaction Reports
The Transactions Report gives studios a full record of every charge, refund, and failed payment that runs through Glofox, and it’s easy to export as a CSV for whatever spreadsheet tool your business runs on. Each row captures the details you need for bookkeeping, including the date and time, the client and staff member involved, what was purchased, the payment method, and the amount charged, with refunds shown as negative values so you can sum the amount column for a clean revenue total. If your studio uses Glofox Payments, the report goes further, adding fees, net payout amount, and the payout date and ID for each transaction, so you can match what’s in the report to what actually lands in your bank account. You can filter the report to any custom date range, which makes it useful for anything from a quick daily check to a full month end close. Tax is broken out by column as well, covering both a total tax figure and any additional regional taxes you’ve configured. For owners and bookkeepers, it turns reconciliation from a guessing game into a straightforward line by line match.
Restricted Editing of Personal Info
Front desk staff and owners can now turn on an optional setting that stops members from editing their own personal information. This closes a common loophole where inactive accounts get reused or shared under someone else’s name, protecting membership integrity and revenue. Because the setting is optional, you decide whether to apply these controls across your business. Net Member Movement Report

Net Member Movement Report
The Net Member Movement tab inside the Members Report gives gym and studio owners a clear read on where their membership base stands over any time frame they choose. Pick a start and end date and the report returns your starting member count, your ending count, how many members joined in that window, and how many churned, all rolled up into a net movement total. It also surfaces an attrition percentage for the period, so you can track retention health at a glance rather than doing the math yourself. A chart visualizes member movement over time and benchmarks it against the same period previously, making seasonal patterns and the impact of new promotions easy to spot. You’ll find it from the Reports icon under Members, alongside the rest of your active, paused, and overdue member data. For operators managing growth targets, it turns what used to be a manual spreadsheet exercise into a two-click report.
Cancellation Reasons
Cancellation Reasons require Admins and Receptionists to select why a contract membership is being cancelled before the cancellation can be completed, replacing the old pop-out window with a more streamlined step in the same flow. Cancellation Reasons
Cancellation Reasons require Admins and Receptionists to select why a contract membership is being cancelled before the cancellation can be completed, replacing the old pop-out window with a more streamlined step in the same flow. Staff choose from seven default reasons, including Price, Moved Away, Medical, Customer Service, Class Schedule, Membership Upgrade or Downgrade, and Lack of Use, and these options are automatically translated for the studio’s region. On eligible plans, these reasons can also be customized to match the specific language a business wants to track. Because a reason is required before the cancellation can be confirmed, studios and gyms end up with a real, consistent dataset of why members are leaving instead of relying on memory or informal notes. That data gives owners and managers a concrete basis for improving retention efforts and coaching staff on the objections and issues coming up most often.
Simplified Cancellation Experience
The Simplified Cancellation Experience gives staff a clearer, more consistent flow for ending a member’s recurring membership, built to meet regulatory click to cancel requirements while still being simple to use. From a member’s profile, staff open the Membership tab, select Cancel Membership from the Actions menu, and choose the date the membership should end,… <a class="more-link" href="https://abcfitness.com/?post_type=release_update&p=29231">Continue reading <span class="screen-reader-text">Simplified Cancellation Experience</span></a>

From a member’s profile, staff open the Membership tab, select Cancel Membership from the Actions menu, and choose the date the membership should end, with the system automatically expiring it once that date arrives. This is especially useful for studios that enforce a 30 or 60 day cancellation notice, removing the need to set manual reminders or track cancellation dates by hand. Staff are also prompted to choose whether to cancel the membership alone or the membership and its subscription together, so billing stops exactly when intended. The result is a dependable, repeatable cancellation process that protects the business while giving members a straightforward, transparent way to end their commitment.

Future Start Dates for Memberships

Future Start Dates for Memberships
When a member signs up for a new membership in Glofox, they no longer have to start using it the moment they pay. Future Start Dates let members and staff set a plan to begin on a date of their choosing, whether that is the start of the month, after a current membership expires, or once a trial period ends. This sits inside the same Plans setup where you already choose payment frequency, whether the membership is Single or Recurring, and other advanced settings like private access or roaming across locations. For gyms and studios, it means fewer awkward conversations about paying now for access you won’t use for weeks, and a smoother handoff when a member is transitioning between plans. Staff can set this at the point of sale, so the sales process stays simple even as start dates get more flexible. The result is fewer billing disputes and a membership experience that matches how people actually plan their fitness routines.

Custom Audience Filter Improvements refine the Audiences section under the Connect tab, where studios and gyms build segmented groups of leads and clients to target in one-off campaigns. Preset audiences like Active memberships, Former clients, Leads on trial, Expired trials, Failed payments, and Low attendance are now easier to view and manage thanks to a cleaner interface, and clicking into any audience shows exactly which filters define it. This update also adds a new never had a membership filter, giving staff a way to isolate leads who have never converted at all, separate from former or expired members. Once built, any of these audiences can be selected directly when creating a campaign in Messages, One-off emails, so outreach can be tailored to exactly where someone sits in their journey. The result is faster, more precise segmentation that helps staff send the right message to the right group instead of sending one message to everyone.

Amplify to ABC XLerate
ABC Glofox Amplify has evolved into ABC XLerate, a full lifecycle fitness CRM that keeps every Amplify feature customers already rely on while adding more advanced lead management, task management, and audience segmentation. Built for gyms and studios that want to manage acquisition, retention, and advocacy inside one platform instead of stitching together separate tools, XLerate helps your team automate repetitive follow ups and reminders so the customer experience stays consistent as your business grows. It supports SMS, push notifications, and email marketing to create personalized, on brand interactions from a lead’s first contact through renewals and beyond, and workflows can be built from pre-set cadences or customized to match how your team already works, then scaled across multiple locations. ABC XLerate is included automatically for studios and gyms on the Elite plan, or available as an add-on for other plans, and current Amplify customers are upgraded with no action required on their part. For operators, the payoff is fewer disconnected systems and more consistent, personalized engagement across the entire member lifecycle.
