Future Start Dates for Memberships
When a member signs up for a new membership in Glofox, they no longer have to start using it the moment they pay. Future Start Dates let members and staff set a plan to begin on a date of their choosing, whether that is the start of the month, after a current membership expires, or once a trial period ends. This sits inside the same Plans setup where you already choose payment frequency, whether the membership is Single or Recurring, and other advanced settings like private access or roaming across locations. For gyms and studios, it means fewer awkward conversations about paying now for access you won’t use for weeks, and a smoother handoff when a member is transitioning between plans. Staff can set this at the point of sale, so the sales process stays simple even as start dates get more flexible. The result is fewer billing disputes and a membership experience that matches how people actually plan their fitness routines.
